The Detroit Lions, an American football team in the National Football League (NFL), have taken part in every NFL draft since it began in 1936. The purpose of the draft is to provide a venue for NFL teams to secure the rights to eligible persons, typically college football players, to help form and maintain a roster. The Lions have selected hundreds of players in the draft since it began, with many going on to play for the team.

I've been working at this one for a while after searching for a featured or good topic to contribute to, and this will have been my first, if successful.
