I noted two things immediately in reviewing your contributions. First, on the bad side, I noticed you do not use edit summaries very much. I would strongly encourage you to add a small note about your edits to the edit summary field when making changes. It does not have to be anything in-depth, just a brief explanation of the edit. Edit summaries are very useful to other editors and helps us all keep track of page histories more easily. Second, on the good side, I noticed that you are very responsive to constructive criticism and seem interested in learning how to do things the "right" way. This kind of positive and receptive attitude is exactly what Wikipedia needs in its editors. We all went through a learning curve and how an editor responds to that curve says quite a bit about them.

You seem like a good editor, but I would encourage you to get more widely involved. This is not to disparage your work as a wikignome fixing things, your work with photos or your work on layout issues. Those are all good things. However, if you're looking to eventually become an admin, there are some things I would suggest. If you're uncomfortable with participating in WP:RFA yet, help out on WP:ER. It usually has a backlog and will help you become more comfortable with reviewing and providing feedback to other editors. WP:XFD can always use another reasonable voice, as there are often many cases with very few opinions voiced. WP:BACKLOG, as the name suggests, could always use some attention and could help you with moving towards more rewriting and content addition. You might also want to participate in WP:3O and WP:GAC, as outside views are not only welcomed, but desirable. Vassyana 12:11, 11 March 2007 (UTC) reply

I also wanted to add that I would encourage you to seek out sources for material lacking them. Take a good look over WP:RS and WP:V to help you understand when they should be used and what standards you should use for your sources. If you're uncomfortable with adding sources yourself, or unsure of how to go about the task, you could also add appropriate tags or, even better, ask editors you know or trust to help you out with it. Also, if you ever have any questions about this, or other Wikipedia related things, you are encouraged to ask other editors or put {{helpme}} on your talk page. Cheers!! Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I've been really happy with the Mount Henry Peninsula page which I started, contributed the images and contributed a large portion of the contents. I'm also happy with the Aquinas College, Perth page of which I have done a lot of editing, formatting and contribution of images. I try to edit things I know and usually don't make a habit of editing articles I have no clue about. My main reason for this is when you don't know something, it can be dificult to describe it and, things can often be misunderstood. I have made many edits where I fixed words which are commonly misspelt.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
No, I try not to become attached to articles so, I don't get too stressed. Take a look at my motto here
  3. Optional question from Vassyana: You've been a very active editor at Civil defense siren. Why was that not among the contributions about which you are particularly pleased? What did you do on that article? Were you satisfied with your additions? Would you change anything about the current state of the article?
I am happy with the formatting of this article and have tried to simplify and clear up the article. I am pleased with my contributions within the article but, personally am more proud of my contributions to AC Perth and the Mt Henry Peninsula. I am no expert on the civil defence siren and was just reading up about emergency systems, plans and warnings - watch the video "duck and cover" - you'll have a laugh! I would change the artile so it is less wordy, easier to understand for someone with no prior experience but still allow poeple who know a lot about the subject to extend their knowlege
  4. Optional question from Vassyana: Have you considered participating in WP:AFD and/or WP:RFA? If not, why not? If so, why have you declined to become involved?
Yes, I alway mean to but become busy with studies etc. I have been looking at it recently and plan to become involved in WP:AFD however, I will hold off with {{WP:RFA]] because of my inexperience. I do not want to be involved with RFA YET because, I beleive that should be left to more experienced wikipedians.
  5. Optional question from Vassyana: Despite your high activity level on Mount Henry Peninsula, most of the information in the article is still lacking cited sources. Why is this? Do you intend to correct this in the future? If not, why not?
This for me is always a difficult subject. Because I am a student at AC, and the school owns the mount henry peninsula, and I am envolved in the environment program, I know a lot and have a lot of knowlege so, when I add my knowlege, I do not know how to reference it. What should I do? Do I try to find resources? I am creating an environment website for the school which will be involving the peninsula. i will add information there so, I can then refer to this site once it is up
