  • Hi Vishwin60 (not going to address your real name since we are on Wikipedia, even though I visited your website :p). Your dedication to WP:USRD-related pages reminded me of a admin ( User:Rschen7754) that I once reviewed many months ago. Matter of fact, he reviewed you in your second editor review, and he is a great model for you since you are interest ed in becoming an administrator. Rschen7754 had trouble with debates in WP:SRNC also, so I am assuming there are many disagreements in USRD discussions. However...
  • You should not think about the word "prejudice", and try to assume good faith on all editors (including editors with vandalism record) even if you disagree with their opinion.
  • In your first editor review, a user have recommended you to get a article to GA/FA status. It is known as the 1 FA standard, and is crucial in WP:RFA if many of your mainspace contributions are rather minor. This advice still applies on you.
  • In your second editor review, you struck out a IP comment. Unlike RFA, there are no restrictions in ER that IPs cannot post, especially if the IP user addresses an concern. Crossing out legitimate comments yourself is kind of arbitrary and is generally considered an.. a Latin term I can't remember, but something like against social rule and will leave bad impressions on other editors.
  • The rest of the comments in that editor review is about displaying more understanding in policies and always assume good faith as I mentioned. As for the policies, I reviewed maybe your last 15 deletion discussions. Although there are some quality discussions, you don't seen to refer TO Wikipedia policies to support your arguments. Need to work on that.
  • Do not think about adminship too hard as it will easily lead to oppositions with reference to WP:ANOT.
  • The rule of AWB states that should not "edit too fast; consider opening a bot account if you are regularly making more than a few edits a minute". For newspaper delivery, try to find someone with a bot account or register your own to do the work. Otherwise, you may be accused of inflating your edit count.
  • Overall, you are progressing nicely. Again, remember to assume good faith always! That's the main thing you need to focus on right now. "Hard time to control your anger" is not an excuse. If you cannot control your temper, you should forget about adminship right now. I'm sorry if it sounds harsh, but that's just the way it is.

Cheers! By the way, I'm Chinese also =] (I'm from Taiwan though, you seem to be from China with the usage of Simplified Chinese). I'll be seeing you again after you make another 500 mainspace contributions :p Anti-vandalism is good stuff, but beware of biting. AQu01rius ( User •  Talk) 21:40, 14 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I do not have any contribs that have pleased me at the moment. I've felt that I value all of my contribs the same.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Because of the prejudice between WP:USRD editors and the rest of Wikipedia, I have been in lots of heated and brutal conflicts. Sometimes I might lose my cool and civil head and my anger on the conflict lets out. This is mostly policy and conscience related, as I seem to sometimes go with policy rather than consensus. This might even happen in reverse. Apart from all this, I am trying to keep myself as content as possible, but don't be surprised if I do act a bit crazy, since I seem to have a hard time controlling my anger.
