290 edits to Habbo Hotel, and it still isn't GA? The dedication is good, but I really don't know what's holding it back...something I do notice is that a lot of the edits are reversions of your previous edits, or very minor changes. Perhaps you could use the preview button more, and compile more into one edit. By the way, like all the anti-vandal warnings commented in the article...but it still gets a good deal of vandalism :(
Apart from that, you've also done a good deal of work on some other articles, which is great to see. Anyone who likes The Chaser's War on Everything is in my good books ;) I think that article is at GA status, you just need fair use rationales on images, and it should be good.
Good to see active talk page discussion - that can be a rare commodity.
A lot of edits to your talk, but I don't recall you replying there actively? Maybe it's just because I'm #2 on the list :P
Help Desk work is good, but you don't seem to do much in other areas. [1] This could get picked on in an RfA.
An overwhelming impression I get in your edits, except to mainspace, is that you edit anything, anywhere...with no specific "area of interest." Nice to see the gnoming - but you might enjoy yourself more in one set area. Try focusing more (maybe do some wikiproject collaboration or something), see how you like that.
Anyway, I hope these suggestions help - sometimes I can't write anything in an ER, and sometimes I get plenty out...like now. Enjoy! Dihydrogen Monoxide 06:47, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Spebi, sorry it's taken a while. First off a minor thing is that your link at the top of this page doesn't link to your second ER but your first instead. I looked at the tagging and I don't see why it doesn't.
I've read through the other reviews, so I'll try to approach things somewhat differently (and I'm the only non-Aussie ;) ). I'm also concentrating on your past two months. Email enabled is good. Bare userpage, but fine -- no one can pull the "too many userboxes" b.s. on you. You may want an obvious but discrete link to your talkpage so newer editors don't leave messages on your user page (I see you used to have that).
I like that you've been involved in the template standardisation drive, which show a readiness to collaborate with others on a project that is important to all users. Also nice are contributions to WP:ACC, portals and WikiProjects. Your contributions to article talk pages are good. I didn't notice any civility issues in your talk page contributions.
Vandalism work seems pretty good. I think giving {{ uw-bv}} to ILo0vEeYo0 ( talk · contribs) is a bit excessive for this edit seeing as it was their first non-userspace edit. It might have been accidental. Mind you, I find my tolerance for vandalism can depend on whether I've had lunch, time of day, time in front of the computer, etc. I'd probably have used {{ uw-v2}}. I save {{ uw-bv}} for more serious hate or profane vandalism. There are also a few instances where you revert vandalism and the user wasn't warned. I imagine it's probably because someone else warned for you. It certainly isn't frequent enough to cause me concern. One suggestion is to note which warning you're giving in the edit summary. For example, I will put "v2" in the summary when I warn with {{ uw-v2}}. This is useful for when users blank their talk pages as it allows other editors to more quickly determine what other warnings the user has received without looking at earlier versions. Only one click different, but it saves a bit of time for future editors/RC patrollers. And I do see that you have done that in the past. Your deleted contributions show that you don't do a lot of new page patrol -- relatively few articles tagged for deletion. I don't think it's a big deal, mind you.
Most of your edit summaries are informative, which is definitely a good thing. And you always seem to use them -- also good. Try to remember to mark minor changes (like most WP:MOS-type changes, e.g. here) as minor. (As an aside, month-and-day, e.g. April 17, should be wiki-linked for user viewing preferences purposes.)
One suggestion for when you're making lots of changes to a page (e.g. Bali Nine, List of units in the Age of Mythology series) is to use the {{ inuse}} template to warn other users not to edit. Then you can use the preview button more, and fewer multiple small edits. That's not really an Editor Review thing, just a general comment.
One thing I will also reiterate what has been stated before is the high proportion of edits you have to User space. Part of it is because you have so many subpages [2] and you do a lot of testing there. Your deleted contributions are also full of User space contributions. I don't really think it's a problem, but just be prepared to either give a pre-emptive reason or have one ready if anyone fires that off at you. It's also readily apparent that you spend a lot of your time on a few articles and also Wikipedia space. Also fine, just be aware.
Ok. I'll end there for now. In summary, mostly good stuff. Feel free to ask for clarification. Cheers! -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 06:32, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
