Cyberpower678 ( talk · contribs · count) I am a, hopefully, good contributor to wikipedia. Lately I feel like I have been goofing up and been causing more problems than help to Wikipedia. I would like the community's input as to how I am performing and what I could improve on. — cyberpower ( Chat)( WP Edits: 521,541,360) 13:11, 10 March 2012 (UTC) reply

Questions
  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
Although I contribute primarily to the Pokemon Anime articles, I do at occasion do fight vandalism, (haven't gotten to doing that lately), and I find I participated more in WP:RfA, WP:ANI, and WP:AN. Sometimes I also work at WP:PERM too although, there's not much to do as a non-admin. I feel every edit I contribute to Wikipedia is equally as important as the other.
  2. Have you been in editing disputes or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future? If you have never been in an editing dispute, explain how you would respond to one.
Events that led to my very first block is one of the worst I have faced. I tried to deal with it calmly but got slightly overwhelmed as things got out of hand. For certain reasons, I prefer to not disclose information about it. It taught me that I could've handled that dispute very differently and come out with a different resolution.

Looking through your contributions, it appears you spend the majority of your time working in userspace and commenting in WT:RFA, WP:AN, and WP:ANI discussions. While this is fine to do occasionally, the main goal of the project is to build up the encyclopedia. Right now, only 22.32% of your edits are in article namespace, and the majority of those edits are huggle reverts. My suggestion would be to join a WikiProject to collaborate on a topic that you enjoy. Or, you could work on one of the article maintenance backlogs. The last issue I noticed was a somewhat impulsive action here. One user requested a mass rollback, and an admin performed the rollback. Then another user challenged the rollback, so you reverted the admin. Given that this affected over 200 pages, it would have been better to let the discussion run its course before mass reverting an admin (or any user for that matter). I hope this feed back helps you. Although I was itching to try out mass rollback, I did it because the bot was unblocked and was allowed to continue it's delivery of newsletters. I restored the newsletters that were removed. I also have noticed that I have edited more user space than I should have.— cyberpower ( Chat)( WP Edits: 521,578,065) 18:09, 10 March 2012 (UTC) reply
I've seen you pop up a few times in places I frequent, so maybe I can offer some feedback. You've been around a couple months now and have dived into a lot of complex areas of the backside of the project. That's good that you are showing varied interests. However, you frequently seem to act impulsively and with undue haste, such as in discussions about X!'s bot replacement, EdwardsBot reversions and on expired RFAs at BN. I also note you were blocked in the last six months for an oversight-related matter. From what I can gather, you are aiming for adminship; to be frank, I could not see the community granting you adminship in the next year to eighteen months given your current conduct. You have not violated policy, but I suspect many in the community view you as lacking good judgment in approaching difficult issues, often with complex back-stories and interests in play. While a breath of fresh air is always welcome, you would be well advised to read WP:NODEADLINE and temper your urge to complete things as quickly as possible. Thank you for your comments. I had no idea I act impulsively. I'll be sure to work on that. Feel free to give me a nudge if I keep doing it. I am however, that community does not yet see me fit to be admin because of my block. But I'll be sure to work on the things you say I have issues with.— cyberpower ( Chat)( WP Edits: 521,791,821) 20:08, 11 March 2012 (UTC) reply
Hey there Cyberpower, I just want to second (or third?) what AQ and MBisanz have said, and I hope you don't see this as a bad review or piling on - it really does appear to be your biggest "issue". In the places I've seen your name pop up, it seems to be often accompanied with an action, like, most recently, the archive bot fixes or an RfA that really didn't need attention. Many of those actions are harmless or even beneficial, but sometimes I get the impression that they are rushed (almost like trying to beat others to it) or that you don't care so much why you're doing something (like the mass-rollback) as long as you do it ... Oh dear, that sounds bad, so please understand that I don't mean to be as harsh as I might be sounding...Anyway I'd like to encourage you to take your own personal WP:DRAMAOUT and/or lurk moar (as our friends on one site say) on the WP-space boards...there's lots to learn there, but AN* etc. are great places to completely screw up (not that I'm saying you have). Also, this comment. I know DF...we've interacted heavily on at least one or two articles and I can't say I agree with him on...well, anything. However, it really isn't a good idea to glance at one editors contribs and then endorse or disparage him/her to another editor in the same discussion. I'm not trying to find one situation and blow it up, but I do believe that this type of comment and action (moving the barnstar) is rather characteristic of your edits. You've only been here a few months (a relatively short time), if this was your first account and you didn't edit before, so there's still a lot to learn. Hope this helped a bit, Nolelover Talk· Contribs 00:15, 18 March 2012 (UTC) reply
Thanks for the review and yes I will try to be more careful about that. With Bot archival fixes, I thought I was helping out when setting it up. It turned out that only Worm was oppsoed to it. Although I did ask editors I came across if they would like me to switch them over to Cluebot.— cyberpower ExpressOnline 00:23, 18 March 2012 (UTC) reply
First of all a LOL for you. You are prolly the most light natured editor around who is so active and experienced. You made April fools day really enjoyable and made me smile because of your parrot even in my crapy lifestyle that I lead. Why m I telling this in your review?!
To the point, you are helpful, funny and really good editor. You can really make a amazing admin. I'd <3 to see u as an admin because there are rarely any who is like you. Your edits are quit good. Especially I like u as u edit Pokemon related articles a lotWTH?
My only concerns are that you have little edits in article space which is a reason for which RfAs RIP. Thats the only problem that you may face if you continue this tempo and go for RfA in the end of 2012 or in near future.
Overall, I luv stalking your talk page, you have amazing userboxes which are worth visiting and I also copied them.Did I miss anything?
Oh yes! You are an amazing editor and do great work. Keep it up and Happy editing! Yash t 101 :) 15:32, 6 April 2012 (UTC) reply
PS: Please be little more static, I mean that editors may consider this 'funny and lite natured' thing as a bad sign for admin and may not consider you sincer. So, my only advise will be that decrease the amount of jokes that you crack, no matter how stupid the situation is or in how good mood are you. Because it only creates an bad impression about you which can cost you mop. Even I considered you a petty editor in the start when I saw you Dont kill me for this, Please... but not now.
Dont let your spirit down, consider yourself as a, um... tasty cake which is ready for mop, but needs garnishments. Otherwise, you are awesome editor, who just need to show that you are not an irresponsible person. Yash t 101 :) 15:41, 6 April 2012 (UTC) reply
