  • As one of Basketball's close contributers, I have to be honest. I think that this user has done a fine job so far, reverting vandals, NBA articles, and a few more more. Although, you do have some fixing up to do. I suggest editing in the mainspace more but I am proud that 24% of your edits are on mainspace. Also, try not to focus on only vandal fighting and NBA articles. Contribute more in other areas. Try participating in WP:XFD's more, becuase I don't see you much there. That's all I have to say. Good luck!-- RyRy5 ( talk) 00:43, 20 April 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Basketball110 is a great editor and contributor to Wikipedia. Has done a great job of overall improvement, vandalism reversion, and especially improvement of NBA articles. He has also encouraged project collaboration through the writing, revising, and delivery of WikiProject newsletters to keep members informed. While has a good, solid percentage of mainspace edits, more couldn't hurt, and would probably help. Participation in WP:XfD, as mentioned above by RyRy5, is also helpful. I also recommend expanding contributions and reaching beyond the NBA and vandalism to contribute to more areas - a good way to do this is to find one or two WikiProjects that interest you, and see where you can help relevant articles related to the WikiProject(s). Overall, a solid editor and a great contributor. Good luck. -- Shruti14 t c s 18:40, 20 April 2008 (UTC) reply
  • I think this user is doing a fine job as an editor. Good participation at WP:XFD, vandalism is properly marked and reverted. However, I do have one word of advice: Semper fi. RC-0722 247.5/ 1 03:45, 23 April 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Basketball110 is doing very well, and he should be proud of all the articles he has started, vandalism he has reverted, and a big improvement over the last month! Glad to hear you are participating at WP:XfD. Happy editing in the future! - Diligent Terrier (and friends) 22:22, 28 April 2008 (UTC) reply

  • This user appears to be doing a decent job so far. I think this user's best "claim to fame" is his vandalism reverting. I see that a lot of your edits are devoted to reverting vandalism, which is excellent! iMat thew 20 08 10:53, 29 April 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Basketball110 is a very good editor whose biggest asset is his civility. He has made some excellent edits, but I think the best thing he could do is to write an article or find a stub article, and work on it to get it promoted to GA-class.-- Uga Man ( talk) UGA MAN FOR PRESIDENT 2008 23:29, 6 May 2008 (UTC) reply

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I seem to fight vandalism a lot, and like doing that, but dislike the vandalism itself. I am also 'pleased' with some of my edits to NBA articles (because I added the section to Shaquille O'Neal about the trade to Miami).
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I don't consider it over "editing," but there were many conflicts with users (with me being both in the right and wrong), which I felt I dealt poorly with. I suppose next time, I will clarify everything from the very beginning.
  3. If you could go back and change anything you have done in the past, what would you do?
As I summarized above, clarify conflicts, and edited mainspace more. Some editors don't take me that serious because of my editing percentages.
  4. How do you plan to improve yourself as an editor?
I plan to create more articles, and edit more in Wiki and main-space.
