Henry Ford(
history ·
last edit) Image:Timehenryford.jpg is used despite violation of the non-free use criteria. Another editor noted that the image is not necessary to prove the Henry Ford is notable. This image does not add to content in the article (no where is there a section about Ford being in Time Magazine). Image fails to meet all criteria for non-free use; it fails criteria #8 and possibly criteria #1, #9. The author of the image has been contact to determine the copyright. Proponents of the image state that someone in ANI "heard" that it was no longer under copyright. Propose not having image in the article until legal question resolved.

The material appears to have been
added some time ago(early 2003) and is pretty much the first version of the article. Given the length of time involved there may be some question as who has taken the material from whom.

Evidence suggests they copied from us. According to
their welcome page, their organization was only founded in December 2006, and, as you say, material was introduced here in 2003. Also, my investigation shows the source duplicates later versions of our article. I think we can mark this one as ours. --
