WP:SMALLCAT of unclear necessity. We do not have a comprehensive scheme of automatically subcategorizing all rural localities in Russia by individual local district, so this isn't part of a comprehensive subcategorization scheme -- and with just ten pages in the target category, it doesn't qualify for the "diffusion of a too-large parent category" pass either. And while a scan of the proposed redirect target reveals a couple of other articles that could theoretically be moved here, that still wouldn't get this up to five entries.

- That is only a list of the highest ones. It wouldn't do to have a large table list in the proper motion article. Instead having a separate list article would serve that function. - That is only a list of the highest ones. It wouldn't do to have a large table list in the proper motion article. Instead having a separate list article would serve that function. (a simple cut-off could be highest 100; and additionally other sublists of high velocity stars, such as by star type (ie. main sequence, neutron stars, white dwarfs, etc); while the proper motion article would only have a small list of the top 10 fastest ones). -- 64.229.90.199 ( talk) 05:29, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
