- Recap So, just to summarize what we have so far, the current proposal is:
Move all targets in the various sub-cats of Category:Fictional earth scientists to either Category:Fictional scientists in films or Category: Fictional scientists in television as appropriate, and then Delete Category:Fictional earth scientists and all of its sub-cats including Category:Fictional cartographers, Category:Fictional geologists, Category:Fictional meteorologists, and Category:Fictional paleontologists. It would need to be a move/delete rather than a standard merge as some targets would need to go into the "films" cat while others into the "television" cat. - Comment & Query I'm fine with the merge ALT. But why "definitely do not rename"? The current name, beginning with the word "mandatory", looks like it was the forcible expulsion of Palestinians. Putting it as the third word in upper case, makes it less likely that this error would occur.

- Agree that assassination is politically relevant (and thus relevant to anarchist biographies), but I expect most of these belong in fact to Category:Executed anarchists, which already exists. If the category is renamed to Assassinated, someone will need to go through and double-check which bio goes where. - Recap So, just to summarize what we have so far, the current proposal is:
Move all targets in the various sub-cats of Category:Fictional earth scientists to either Category:Fictional scientists in films or Category: Fictional scientists in television as appropriate, and then Delete Category:Fictional earth scientists and all of its sub-cats including Category:Fictional cartographers, Category:Fictional geologists, Category:Fictional meteorologists, and Category:Fictional paleontologists. - Comment & Query I'm fine with the merge ALT. But why "definitely do not rename"? The current name, beginning with the word "mandatory", looks like it was the forcible expulsion of Palestinians. Putting it as the third word in upper case, makes it less likely that this error would occur.

- Agree that assassination is politically relevant (and thus relevant to anarchist biographies), but I expect most of these belong in fact to Category:Executed anarchists, which already exists. If the category is renamed to Assassinated, someone will need to go through and double-check which bio goes where.
