Nominator's rationale: Arcade games are a type of video game, therefore this category naming isn't standard. Simply "video games" will suffice.

It seems the same is true if it ever was a former city. The article mentions it was a farming town and the picture of the historical plaque on the article mentions it was a town in the early 1800s. The 1860s census indicates it was a township under the name "Queen City Township." I think the best option here is to remove this ghost town from the category. –

Nominator's rationale We have
Category:Architects from Georgia (country) and
Category:Architects from Northern Ireland, so the place+from form works. When we use "of" with architects, it normally refers to what they designed. Although this would be a different use of architect than how we use it in categorization, referring to people who create a country as the "architects" of it is sometimes done, so the current name is possibly confusing, and the alternative name is much more clear. We have several sister categories that use the "foo from the Russian Empire" when the "of" form would lead to confusion.

Support -- Such categories of which a MLA is likely to have several are better for being short. However was this province not called Orissa at the time? Odisha is anachronistic.

Comment A small category is not necessarily useless. There are now 2 articles in the category. As far as I understand, only two Type J3 submarines were ever built so there's no potential for growth. Nevertheless, we have a subcategory
Category:Type J1 submarines (also relatively small). So for consistency, I would recommend either keeping both as subcategories of
Category:Junsen type submarines or upmerging both.

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus. I added the sibling category to the nomination. Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks,

Support — Arguments in favor of keeping this category seem to amount to "Why, there's something there, so better devote a category to it", which is already the cause of the labyrinth/clusterfuck known as Wikipedia's category tree. There are other notable people associated with Ninilchik for whom articles haven't been written yet. Still, even if those articles were written, I don't believe it would add up to a category that's either adequately populated or has much growth potential. Perhaps more importantly, Ninilchik is a
census-designated place. There is no
Category:People by census-designated place in Alaska. All of the entries in
Category:People by city in Alaska are for actual incorporated communities. Since I don't pay much attention to the category trees of other states, I don't know whether or not there's a precedent for thisOkay, I looked and see there's
Category:People by census-designated place by state, with all sorts of underpopulated categories downstream.
