East Bengal was a province of Dominion of Pakistan. But
East Pakistan was one of two administrative units in Pakistan. And East Bengal has a article in wikipedia. But if anyone decide to merge or rename then I choose "Option B".

Option A As I understand it East Pakistan consisted of one province, so that the two relate to the same area, but Leave cat-redirects as these are credible search terms. I note that the tree contains one British person (presumably covering the partition period) and (anachronistically) one person who died in 1929, who should probably be in a Bengal category (covering East and West Bengal before partition).

Option A. East Bengal existed from 1947 to 1955, it was renamed and reorganized to East Pakistan between 1955 and 1971. The territory of both was exactly the same, the difference was in naming and in Pakistan's overall administrative scheme, but that had more to do with the provinces in West Pakistan that were combined. Redirects should be left.--

(voted above) So in effect this was a renamed polity. We do not normally allow spearate categories for these and the more recent name is to be preferred.

Further note: with option A there should be a clear text on these category pages to explain that the categories include East Bengal, and redirects should be left.

Delete What real connection is there between building bridges and snowmen? And that is assuming either or both song aren't an allegory, parable or some other literary device. --
