Nominator's rationale: Most of the parent and child categories follow the "Songs about ____" naming convention, so I see no need for this one to be different Ten Pound Hammer • (

Comment -- The Imams were the Muslim rulers, so that this is the equivalent of a royal family category, but it needs to be more closely defined so that it is limited to close family of ruling Imams. We have in the past deleted categories for descendants of British kings and queens, because there are too many of them.

I think this is a misunderstanding: an
imam is a religious leader, not a ruler, the category is certainly not the equivalent of a royal family category.

Delete as overly broad, and badly defined. Even if we are to take the narrow definition of the
Twelve Imams as the imams in question, the amount of people claiming descent is close to innumerable. The current category contains many 20th century people, whereas the 12 Imams ended over a thousand years ago. If we define imams as any imam, the category is basically half the people alive today.--

Nominator's rationale: Beyond being misnamed, this category is way too early. While the hope is that there will eventually be more episode articles for the series, currently the majority are in the draft space. Until more move out (timing of which are unknown), this article can live in the parent "Hawkeye (2021 TV series)" category. -

Because as stated, there is currently only one episode article which fits perfectly well in the main category, with no guaranteed the other episodes of the series will become articles. Is it likely given they are part of the MCU and such? Yes it is, but we should cross that bridge of creating the sub categories when that time comes. This feels like putting the
cart before the horse. -

That fails to address my main point, which is that WP:SMALLCAT actively discourages the deletion of these categories. We wouldn't delete a subcategory of
Category:Songs by artist for only having one entry; this is in essence the exact same situation, just a different form of media.
