Nominator's rationale: I don't believe all of these are a single family; listing a bunch of people and a bunch of mathematical terms in the same category because they all have Lyapunov in the title is also incorrect.

Support, there are only two biographies in this category related to the family described in the

I agree with that. I just didn't consider the difference between topic and actual genre when I created the category.--

L293D, this got deleted by
User:RHaworth with a custom rationale, "Not a category page. Just external links". Good use of
WP:IAR, I'd say, although it probably could have been deleted under G11 too.

Nominator's rationale: merge per
WP:OVERLAPCAT, almost every calendar coincides with a particular country, a particular region, or a particular religion.

KeepCategory:Observances on non-Gregorian calendars on procedural grounds, as you've not specified something to do with the individual articles within the category. Propose something to do with them, or advance an argument why we shouldn't have them in any category of this sort, and I'll be willing to strike this vote.
Nyttend (
talk) 23:09, 23 September 2018 (UTC)reply
The individual articles are scheduled according to a country calendar or religious calendar that does not have its own subcategory yet (most of them Buddhist). The articles are not different from the subcategories in this respect. As the articles are already in the right country or religion category, they do not have to be in a calendar category as well.

oppose at least in part Looking at
Category:Observances set by the Hebrew calendar, there are holidays set by the Israeli government whose dates are determined according to the Hebrew calendar, but which are not holy days, as for example
Jabotinsky Day. I'm afraid this is going to have to be addressed on a category-by-category basis.

Oppose in part -- Coptic and Ethiopian festivals should not be necessarily merged to Christian ones, since these independent churches are liable to have festivals that differ from those of the Catholic (and Protestant) and Orthodox traditions.

Nominator's rationale: remove "systems" per article name
Regional rail. (Besides the word "system" is ambiguous. Regional trains and intercity trains often make use of the same railway track so at most it might be called Regional train "service".) In addition the format of the category name has been changed from "Fooian regional rail" to "Regional rail in Foo", which is the more usual format except in case of nationality of people.
Support per nom and as nominator of the similar
discussion. The word “systems” is entirely unimportant provided that all commuter rail and regional rail categories are consistent with each other and across the wiki.
