Nominator's rationale: For most/all of the birds in this category (e.g. woodland kingfisher) being found in Bioko is non-defining. Many of the articles don't even mention the island - hence listifying may not be appropriate. DexDor (talk) 07:56, 25 December 2017 (UTC) reply
Keep: While it's true these birds are present across a much broader area, they are among the very few to be found across Sub-Saharan Africa while also found on the island. -- Couiros22 ( talk) 08:43, 25 December 2017 (UTC) reply
Do you think articles (e.g. blue quail - "The species is found in Sub-Saharan Africa. It ranges from Sierra Leone to Ethiopia, and south to Zambia, and eastward to Kenya.") that make no mention of Bioko in the text should be categorized for Bioko? If you have an off-wiki list of birds of Bioko then why not create a list article? DexDor (talk) 18:08, 25 December 2017 (UTC) reply

Among the hundreds of birds found across Sub-Saharan Africa, despite its proximity to the mainland, only a very small amount are also found on the island (idem for birds of Cape Verde & Canary Islands). -- Couiros22 ( talk) 09:49, 26 December 2017 (UTC) reply
That doesn't answer the questions I asked above. It looks like you are attempting to use the wp categorization system as a database (duplicating purpose-designed ornithological databases) rather than to categorize articles. DexDor (talk) 21:58, 30 December 2017 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: Apart from the eponymous article the pages are all of members of Sigma Xi, and 'members' categories were deleted long ago: see list of deleted membership categories. There is List of Sigma Xi members, a better way of recording membership. Oculi ( talk) 00:17, 25 December 2017 (UTC) reply
