Comment -- The question is really one of how to categorise the other subcategory - American landscape and garden designers, which also lacks a main article in a way that links it to a US gardens category.

Delete -- Now that the other sub-cat (did not really belong here) has been removed, this is redundant to to gardens in US and should thus be deleted.

Delete category is misused apparently per Bearcat; I haven't heard of any garden being bodily moved across national borders, so presumably the "origin" of these gardens is the US (perhaps with exceptions of those gardens established under some non-US rule in territories subsequently annexed to the US). The "origin" of the style of the garden is another matter and I don't think that's what this was even attempting to assert.
