Nominator's rationale:upmerge to parent category per
WP:NONDEF, it's a defining characteristic for only 2 of the 6 articles.
Marcocapelle (
talk) 08:15, 6 August 2016 (UTC)reply
Upmerge One is made by MusicBrainz, one is licensed by them, and the rest just use MusicBrainz for some features. That's not a viable category, but no objection to reviewing later if the article count grows for directly related clients.

Nominator's rationale:delete per
WP:SMALLCAT. Add its parent categories to the eponymous article.
Marcocapelle (

Comment I added 2 more articles for a total of 3 plus an admin subcategory.
RevelationDirect (
talk) 17:31, 6 August 2016 (UTC)reply
Oppose. SMALLCAT is headed "Small with no potential for growth" (my emphasis). Note: I've removed the administration category (we normally keep administration categories, many of which contain talk pages etc, out of categories for encyclopedia content). DexDor(talk) 06:26, 7 August 2016 (UTC)reply

Support none of the 3 articles have enough categories to make adding another one problematic, and having 3 articles in the category is not very useful.

Nominator's rationale:delete per
WP:SMALLCAT. No upmerge needed, the one article is already in the folk singers tree and (multiple times) in the Crimean Tatar people tree.
Marcocapelle (

Delete one article categories are rarely justified.

Normally I avoid these large international nominations because my friends over at the medals WikiProject like to make sure that the local context is considered. But these awards all have 2 things in common:
1: They are automatically given to the ruling monarch.
2: They are given to no one else.
All of these people are already in the appropriate monarch category for their country which what defines them and largely overlaps with these categories. "Grand Master" categories
with different criteria are not included in this nomination. -

Delete all these categories represent overcategorization that goes against the guildelines for definingness for award categories. A monarch is defined as such, not by the titles he or she receives automatically as being a monarch nor by the international good will attempted to be created by giving out titles of honor.
