Nominator's rationale:Merge. I'm not convinced that the thinly populated parent needs to be split out by continent which basically hinders navigation. By continent categories should be limited to major geography features and not structures.

Support All But they definitely have to be upmerged to the Ice hockey people from Ontario category where they originally came from as well. -

Not all categories need to be split. There will be very large categories, categories are only supposed to be split if the resulting sub categories are sufficiently defining still. In this particular cat branch this is as far as you can split, any farther and you are no longer defining. -

keep as is. The convictions category is all well and good but deleting this category leaves no place for people documented as self-admitting to be burglars but who died or otherwise were not convicted of same or for people who have no BLP issues as they lived and died some time ago.

Support -- There are BLP (i.e. libel) issues over categorising unconvicted living burglars. In English law (not sure about other jurisdictions), libel is only availble to living people, but I think we should still be wary about having any category for self-confessed but unconvicted criminals.

Keep per Hmains reasoning, but add category text to denote that those categorised as such should be convicted of burglary or self-admitted.
