Nominator's rationale: "Nonlinear" is a term that could mean several things: It might mean an open level design; it might mean open-endend games, or those with multiple endings. So the first issue is that the category is subjective: for example,
Tornado Low Level was recently categorized here, because it has one large map that the player can fly over freely. But it still progresses by level. Is this non-linear?
Secondly, combining these concepts together makes a huge category - I reckon about half of all games that ever existed. In my opinion this is hopelessly broad. I think we should have a closer examination of what we mean by "nonlinear" and create narrower categories as appropriate.

Delete Not a useful metric, as it is completely subjective. While some examples are easier to classify, most are just a mess that reviewers will argue on. "Oh, it's so open worlded" vs. "No it's just linear gameplay hidden in big rooms". No VG publisher really classifies this properly as far as I know. And the huge issue is also a factor, since half the video games are not linear in one way or another. —

Comment – I don't think a cfd is needed to change a category redirect to a cat disamb, as it is merely an edit. (I am no expert but it sounds to me as if a disamb would be better. See eg
Category:People from Birmingham for the template in use.)

Figure19 (
talk) 01:30, 10 May 2011 (UTC) The redirect was wrong anyway, and I did disambig page, but I'm not sure it's the right way. Although the "throat cancer" is not the right designation and does not fit
ICD-10 classification, it's one of the most used colloquial collective terms for these tumors, and more exact diagnosis in most articles is not mentioned (see articles in
Category:Deaths from esophageal cancer - now it is full of deaths from throat cancer because of wrong redirect). So, wouldn't it be better to revive
Category:Deaths from throat cancer as a full-featured category with subcats of laryngeal, oral, oropharyngeal, etc.? See also

Support Rename To group these articles together by their strongest defining characteristic as part of a nationwide series with a title for the category matching the parent article. The argument that this could be done better by a template (or list) is never a worthy argument for deletion.

Keep as its two head categories are part of a structure. I find it unlikely that the small number of pages within this category will be a significant part of anyone's motivation to add to these events. -

Keep as part of an overall international structure with more than enough articles to justify subdivision on a national basis.

Oppose. I am still uneasy about this recategorisation. My concern remains that ' based in ' is poor wording. Thus the
ICE example that I gave was never addressed, namely that a body can have many regional 'bases'. Or has the intention of the category changed so that editors can tag an institute several times for each national 'base'?
