Nominator's rationale: The general term for a Jewish "house of prayer" is synagogue. Only in North America is the word "temple" ever used as an alternative word. Furthermore, all 12 pages currently appearing in this category include the word "Synagogue" as part of their name.

I stand by my nomination.
