Close to 48 hours after I posted these changes, some users objected, so I'm taking it here. This is a straightfoward matter of implementing WP:DASH and has been a speedy rationale used on dozens of categories. — Justin (koavf)❤ T☮ C☺ M☯ 17:44, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

How does WP:OVERCAT apply here? Afterall, there are lists of athletes by generation/relation. 72.74.221.51 ( talk) 15:05, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Nominator's Note: Looking through the various categories, while "powerhouse" is common, "generating station" is equally common and in some provinces seems more the established standard. Saskatchewan entries are titled "power station" but I was unable to access SaskPower's website just now to see if that's the term they use, or if those articles might have been, perhaps, written by a Briton or by someone harmonizing with British name-formats. "Generating station" is relatively common in BC, where I am, though on consideration I've only seen it for Burrard Thermal Generating Station and Gordon M. Shrum Generating Station (the one attached to W.A.C. Bennett Dam. All others I can think of are "powerhouses" - though as noted in speech "the plant" or "the power plant" is common. Maybe this should be by a province-by-province basis; "generating station" is more common in Ontario and N&L, and "powerhouse" in BC, with that anamolous "power station" in Saskatchewan.
