Upmerge to the parents as a small category unlikely to expand. It's rare that an article in Rolling Stone (list or otherwise) is going to attract separate attention sufficient to warrant an article.

As a matter of fact, I've given some thought to creating an article about the RS interview/article that singlehandedly brought down the commanding general in Afghanistan.

That would then make three RS articles out of the history of the magazine that have WP articles, still a small category and still a category with very little growth potential.
