Comment -- This is effectively a small Christian denomination (see main article). The question is whether any of the red links in the article will become articles to be included. I suspect not. If so, delete but do not salt.

Rename/merge 1 and 3, and root out any North Koreans putting them in an obvious NK category. I lack grounds for any view on 2 and 4; although there is

Comment. In reviewing the deletions in this area, there appears to be a concerted effort to remove Korean categories and replace them with South Korean ones. Personally the South Korean ones should be added. No need to delete the Korean parents.

Nominator's rationale:Delete I'm going to take the plunge and change this to a CfD. Delete as there are no articles or sub-categories here which actually relate to peak bagging, unlike the American category. This is basically
Category:Mountains by country under the peak bagging "brand." Wikipedia is not a travel guide, and we don't want a situation where we allow a Peak bagging by country category scheme to become a parallel to

While the US category does have a handful of bona fide peak bagging-related articles, this UK category (and the one I just created for Ireland) would be empty if one removed all general mountain and elevation-related categories and articles from it.
South Wales Traverse and
Bob Graham Round appeared to me to be mis-categorized. They should have been organized under
Category:Fell running event, so I changed that. Obviously we don't want a situation where we allow a Peak bagging by country category scheme to become a parallel to
Category:Mountains by country. Would I have your support if I changed this to a CfD on the basis of
WP:OC#TRIVIAL? I'd speedy the Irish one myself but leave the US one, as there is true peak bagging content in it.

Keep -- The problem is that the category does not just relate to UK but also Ireland. An alternative might be "Britain and Ireland". I suspect that Irish categories are all-Ireland, which does not fit the usual system of national categories.

I'm sorry for any confusion my original CfR has caused. I am now nominating to delete. The problem is no longer the nationality issue, if it ever was. That's beside the point, IMO. The problem is that this would make a landform category like mountains a subcategory of an obscure activity, peak bagging, which is absurd. It's like making oceans a subcat of surfing. If Peak baggers want to use Wikipedia to find elevations and info, great. But they should be using our existing category structure to find them, except in instances like in the US category where we have bona fide articles on peak bagging events and people. We should not create a different way for peak baggers to search out mountains, per,
