CCCCWI Getting Started with WikiProject Writing Workshop
Please join us online for the Getting Started with WikiProject Writing workshop on Friday,April 22, 2022 from 12:00PM-1:30PM ET. This workshop will introduce you to
WikiProject Writing as a collaborative space for coordinating efforts to improve Wikipedia articles related to our areas of expertise. Topics will include defining the scope of WikiProject Writing by tagging articles, directing the priorities of WikiProject Writing by assessing articles, and adding to and working from our list of articles in need of work and creation.
All comp/rhet scholars with a basic level of Wikipedia editing skills are welcome. This event is limited to 10 participants. The workshop will be hosted on Discord by Savannah Cragin, the CCCC Wikipedian-in-Residence. This event is sponsored by the
CCCC Wikipedia Initiative with funding from the Wikimedia Foundation.
Participants are encouraged to identify an article to work on and
register on the event dashboard in advance. We aim to have you collaborating on WikiProject Writing by the end of the workshop. All comp/rhet scholars with a basic level of Wikipedia editing skills are welcome.
