Fails
WP:GNG and
WP:BIO. There are insufficient independent, third party publications to support notability: lacks
WP:SIGCOV. The sources found in a
WP:BEFORE search seem to be recursive in that they all seem to circle back to each other, echoing phrases used. The two sources cited in the article read like promotional pieces.

Honestly think this should be speedy delete, but since we're here not. Haven't been able to find anything on my end.

Speedy Delete G11. Clearly a promo article, probably paid, but at least COI. The only sources look like press releases, the sort that are paid for. The author has been banned for spam/advert.
Speedy Delete, Unambiguous advertising or promotion. Lacks significant coverage in reputable sources. Consistently refers to the subject by their first name, which seems to suggest the editor who created this has a connection with the subject. Overblown claims of a "prestigious" undergraduate degree from a school that accepts almost 1,000 students per year and has an acceptance rate of about 80%
[1], unsupported claims of "known for his distinctive layering technique," and claims of "prominent venues" which includes two spaces at their undergraduate school. All of this makes this look like obvious promotion.

Delete but not speedily. I strongly disagree with the characterization of this article as promotional or advertising in tone; in its current form it reads like a basically normal article about an artist, easily rendered encyclopedic by deleting a few adjectives. However, this artist hasn’t been shown to meet
WP:NARTIST or GNG. The exhibitions are not major, no works in permanent collections, no reviews of their works.

WP:ARTIST.
WP:TOOSOON. I didn't read the nomination as stating the article was promotional, but that the refs are promotional and I agree.--
