Here we have an interesting pair: two "resorts" which really were resorts at first, constructed on the shores of
Lake Berryessa when it was created in the late 1950s, and which have both changed into privately operated camping areas. Absolutely not settlements, I don't think they are notable as recreation areas of whatever generation.
