No refs on the page for many years. The refs on de.wiki do not appear to meet the GNG here. I don't speak German but I'm not seeing much which could be considered in terms of notability.

WP:GEOLAND applies. It's the highest point in the region and there are some references in the German article, and I've found a number of hiking entries, especially when including the Wilhemshütte at the base of the radio tower. Whether this is enough I'm not yet sure.

Comment while it's the highest local point, it's hardly the Matterhorn, and seems to be more of a local rambling destination than a great peak to which the world's mountaineers flock in hopes of conquest. We could keep the article, but does that serve our readers? It might be better to merge with
Schwenningen, Sigmaringen and leave a redirect. Our article on Schwenningen is currently very thin, and the German equivalent does mention the Schnaitkapf, which is obviously viewed as a beautiful asset by the Schwenningeners. I'd rather have one good article on the locality than two unconnected stubs.

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus. Relisting comment: We have two different target articles suggested as a Redirect/Merge, can we settle on one? Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, LizRead!Talk!23:19, 29 February 2024 (UTC)reply
