Fails GNG. Of the handful of articles I could find [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] all appear to be obituaries. The subject directed one film as far as I can tell. Even looking under his other name "Sanjeev N.R.", there are no significant hits. Since the article was created in March 2016, around when the subject died, it seems as though the article was created as a memorial, which is not what we should be doing.
