I have no doubt this is a very worthy cause. However, what this seems to be is an observance, such as it is, which is sponsored by an organization and its affiliates, and the sources provided are the press releases of that organization. I see no indication that this has received significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject of the article. I have every sympathy for those struck by disease, rare or otherwise, but this article does not satisfy WP:N Wehwalt ( talk) 22:59, 14 February 2009 (UTC) reply
