The result was merge to Qasr-e Shirin. Consensus is against keeping the page. However, that consensus does not extend to the target page for the merge. I am going with what seems to be the closest significant geographically notable population center. Ad Orientem ( talk) 02:44, 19 August 2019 (UTC)

- So put the sources and content derived from them in the article. A few of these do have enough content to write an article, but expansion at Qasr-e_Shirin#Economy would work just as well. Reywas92 Talk 16:53, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Merge/redirect to Qasr-e Shirin. Existence is not notability; there is no reason every border crossing in the world automatically would have an article when there is a dearth of substantive sources. Reywas92 Talk 15:17, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

- Merge to Qasr-e Shirin or Iran–Iraq_border. Fails WP:GNG, the sources given above do not discuss the crossing itself in sufficient detail. WP:GEOLAND refers only to populated places and natural features, so is not relevant.---- Pontificalibus 12:03, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
