Nominated for speedy deletion, but not an WP:A1 candidate. See Talk:NYLON for the (declined) A1 nominator's deletion rationale. To my mind, this does appear to be a neologism that hasn't caught on. Shirt58 ( talk) 08:20, 17 December 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Keep Even neologisms can make it if they gain usage. Although rename to NyLon, maybe even with a suitable disambig. Andy Dingley ( talk) 11:41, 17 December 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. Additional reliable secondary sources about the term or concept ("not just sources that use the term", per WP:NOTNEO) are straightforward to find, such as news providers [1], [2] and books [3], [4]. The article is a stub but is not currently solely about the neologism and could be expanded to say more about the concept, just as the articles are about more than the neologism. (The neologism seems reasonable as a short title rather than, say, 'The New York–London financial and cultural nexus', and although I'd prefer 'NyLon' or 'NYLon' to 'NYLON', the article title is a separate matter.) • Keep It is easy to find further coverage of the concept such as Global City Network. It is not our policy to delete articles because they are short – see WP:STUB, WP:IMPERFECT, &c. Andrew D. ( talk) 13:47, 17 December 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Keep Hurrygane ( talk) 22:14, 17 December 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Keep But disambiguate to NyLon (term) or NyLon (concept). Current title is too confusing. ZXCVBNM ( TALK) 16:51, 22 December 2017 (UTC) reply
