- Delete. Per WP:Original research. It reads a lot like an academic essay, which is not the appropriate tone for Wikipedia. If one really had a strong case for its notability, it either must be substantially rewritten, or better off as a subsection in the main History of Africa article. - Keep I agree that this articles is poorly written, and needs more sources. But I don't think that's a reason to delete it, it just needs to be improved. There are a lot of other articles on misconceptions about various topics. I'm sure that a competent expert can easily find sources that give this articles its requisite notability.
