Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Such a list constitutes WP:LISTCRUFT because "A" being the only vowel in a word is not notable, unlike something like a Palindrome, which has the List of palindromic places. Yeeno ( talk) 🍁 07:03, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
Any other content not suitable for an encyclopedia. Specifically, WP:Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. As has been noted by other editors above, this is not a defining characteristic. To get a sense of how common this is, I typed " Malma" into the search box, which led me to Malma, Nepal, which in turn transcludes Template:Baglung District. That template about one of the 77 districts of Nepal links to no fewer than ten places that qualify for inclusion on this list: Argal, Dhamja, Jaljala, Baglung, the aforementioned Malma, Nepal, Narayansthan, Rayadanda, Salyan, Baglung, Taman, Nepal, Tangram, Nepal, and Tara, Nepal. A second search for " Bara" turned up a list of no fewer than 27 places called "Bara" or some diacritic variation thereof. The previous assessment that there must be thousands of places like this seems likely to be correct (I'm sure it would be possible to write a script to check some database or other, such as GeoNames, if we really want to come up with a rough figure). With that in mind, it's difficult to see what WP:LISTPURPOSE this could possibly serve. TompaDompa ( talk) 19:00, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
