It is a duplicate of List of national parks of Sri Lanka. I would say A10, but it's hardly recent. - Redirect [was "Keep" but see my comment below] I too would think that Nature reserves are different than National parks, from usage elsewhere in the world, though there could be overlapping areas. But why does the current list of nature reserves only list places named X National Park? Seems like some development is needed, and/or tagging for improvement. - From this Sri Lanka Safari .Com source, there is Sinharaja Rain Forest and five other forest reserves, marine sanctuaries, etc., which seem to be nature reserves and which are not named "National Park". -- Doncram ( talk) 22:18, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
- Protected areas of Sri Lanka has sections which explain the difference between parks vs. reserves, having to do with public access allowed or not. - There seems to have been move-warring/edit-warring going on with the article, where one editor is changing "Nature Reserve" to "nature reserve" in the article title and another changing the other way. There is a content dispute and behavioural stuff going on. AFD is probably not the right venue for dealing with this. --

Blow up and start over per WP:TNT.This is currently a list of national parks, all of which are already in List of national parks of Sri Lanka. Nature reserves, Strict Nature Reserves, Forest Reserves, Marine Reserves, etc. (e.g. Hurulu Forest Reserve, Hakgala Strict Nature Reserve, Sinharaja Forest Reserve, not currently listed) are apparently separate designations distinct from national parks, as explained here and here. - Keep The topic is clearly notable per WP:LISTN – see Sri Lanka Ecology, Nature Protection Laws and Regulations Handbook. There are a variety of designations for protected areas. - Comment, so at the moment we have Protected areas of Sri Lanka, List of national parks of Sri Lanka, and List of nature reserves in Sri Lanka, as a general wikireader if i am interested in this subject i want to be able to go to one wikipage and not worry about the official nuanced definitions between a protected area, national park, or nature reserve (let alone State forests?:)), do we really need 3 articles that could be covered by 1 with appropriate redirects? - But there's no material to merge, so redirect is the correct decision, IMHO. The current list covers just national parks, and just provides their year of creation and their area (in acres and in hectares, oddly in two separate columns rather than using convert template in one column). - Technically there is a difference between merge and redirect. Merge requires there to be content to be merged, not present here.
