I did a WP:BEFORE, to the best of my extents but did not find anything worthwhile. Nothing non-trivial over JSTOR.

I will analyse the references and leave it to the discretion of the !voters.

  • Ref 1--.A list of publications of her, on WorldCat. Hardly any indicator of notability.
  • Ref 2--She was merely a lecturer at Dept. Of Fine Arts of Delhi University. Fails WP:NPROF.
  • Ref 3 and Ref 4--Both the sources drops her name, (in the most trivial of all fashions) among a list of artists who founded Delhi Shilpi Chakra. Nothing else.
  • Ref 5 and 9--An essay about her in an irregularly published journal; which is hardly any housed and where she had previously authored. I though note that it is published by the National; Academy of Arts.
  • Ref 6--Lists essays published by her. We need stuff about her; not by her.
  • Ref 7--She managed the donation of a collection of indigenous art-works to a museum (which is hardly any indicator of notability) from a foundation, established by her. I note that the transfer did not include her own works; which would have satisfied NARTIST (4).
  • Ref 8--Fails criterion of intellectual independency and even then, covers the works of an establishment in her memory. PR stuff.
  • Ref 10--Fails RS.
  • Ref 11 and 12--Received fellowships, which are not highly selective (as evident from the volumes of people who have received them).
  • Ref 13, 14 & 15 -- Books written by her; hardly imparts notability. We need stuff about her.
  • Ref 16--Non-available.
  • Ref 17--The sole substantial stuff which is a review of one of her works.

In light of the above, I don't see any claim to passing WP:NARTIST and/or WP:GNG. We can merge the info in a paragraph or so, to List of Indian women artists. WBG converse 07:15, 4 February 2019 (UTC) reply
