Needs a fundamental rewrite to be encyclopedic. No evidence that this needs a separate article from
Atlantic hurricane and many of the statements are just wrong.

Delete Normally I find myself arguing that a rewrite would do an article good no matter what, but in this case I don't think anything can improve this article past the criteria for deletion because even the title is non-encylopedic, and any variation of the title will remain that way. Doesn't even deserve a redirect to
Atlantic Hurricane Season because of the non-encyclopedic nature of the title.

Comment Is this whole article
WP:COPYVIO from the couple of books used in the references?

Comment I would note that the topic of this article is focused on one area only of the areas affected by
Atlantic hurricanes. Having looked at the
Atlantic hurricane article, I also note that it is either misnamed, or biased towards the north-west Atlantic coast, as there is no mention of hurricanes affecting European countries (eg the
Great Storm of 1987 or
Hurricane Ophelia (2017)). I have consolidated the references in this article, so it's easier to see how many distinct sources there are. I would have thought that, with two book-length sources and other articles specifically on hurricanes in the Caribbean, this topic would meet the
WP:GNG.

Keep A notable topic. We don't seem to have any articles detailing the social, economic and environmental impact of tropical cyclones, and this impact is likely to vary considerably from one region to another, justifying region-based articles on the topic. Needs renaming, if anyone has a better idea than
The social, economic and environmental impact of hurricanes in the Caribbean. ----
