- Delete definitely a river. Cannot find verification of a settlement anywhere. SportingFlyer talk 21:12, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep per WP:GEOLAND. The Kenya Gazette calls it a "sub-location" of the Othaya Constituency or at least treats it as an identifiable place: [1] [2]. There's also some info about its population from the 1962 and 1989 censuses: [3] [4]. - Indy beetle ( talk) 02:29, 16 April 2018 (UTC)

- Comment perhaps if I create an article on the Gikigie River this could redirect there; all of Indy beetle's refs are statistical and I'm not certain they mean anything more than "people who live near the Gikigie river". power~enwiki ( π, ν) 23:19, 17 April 2018 (UTC)

- Keep Map of Gikigie. It has a school: [5] with eight toilets for the teachers: [6]. With a population, a school, a map of the place, a court reference, and eight toilets for the teachers, I think we can treat it as some kind of identifiable settlement. SilkTork ( talk) 21:39, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
