Door of Night

Door of Night (  | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – ( View log · Stats)
(Find sources:  Google ( books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

Non-notable fictional location. Is referenced on Google scholar a few times, but most appear to be in passing in and in the context of a plot summary. Many of them quote the exact same phrase: " Éarendel sprang from the Ocean's cup. In the gloom of the mid-world's rim; From the door of night as a ..." Another article, in Tolkien Studies mentions this door in the context of speculation that it is the same thing as the "portals of the sunset." Not much in secondary RS to build an article from.
