Dewitt Lowrey was a junior NCO with E Company, 506th Infantry Regiment (United States), serving through part of the Normandy campaign during World War II. He was wounded in the head and was evacuated to the U.S. for treatment. His relatively low rank and lack of awards fails to qualify him for inclusion under WP:SOLDIER. After the War, he suffered from epilepsy and did not enjoy a life that gained him any significant coverage; events on record about him are anecdotal. • Delete. - Like most of the rest, not notable for stand alone article. WP:Memorial applies. Re-direct name to E Company, 506th Infantry Regiment (United States). Kierzek ( talk) 23:36, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete Not the first E Company AfD, and this one hasn't even got a photo. I see three perfectly good books that mention him, however I agree with much of what the nom says, and bearing in mind arguments from previous E Company AfD's, this is a clear candidate for deletion. • Delete another article on a non-notable soldier. John Pack Lambert ( talk) 02:41, 14 November 2017 (UTC) reply
