1920 is a really late date for a new 4th class post office, but the Taylor reference states that's what it was, and the topos and aerials tend to confirm this: the same two farms still sit there, and one of them is the location of the old post office. - Keep. 1940 and 1960 Census data indicate Deora was a town; the 1960 Census gives Deora a population of 4. NewspaperArchive contains over 1,500 articles mentioning Deora, and there are a number of news articles which refer to Deora as a "community"; the Lamar Ledger, for example. It will take a while to improve this article, but with there being 1,500 newspaper sources alone, I'm certain a good article can be written. Firsfron of Ronchester 05:48, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
