I believe that this article is not notable, and is therefore advertising for 10 companies. The article has severely limited scope, considering only 10 real estate websites in the US, and is therefore not good enough to be on an encyclopaedia. It's been infrequently changed in 5 years, so I doubt anyone is going to improve this article. Joseph2302 ( talk) 23:49, 21 February 2015 (UTC) Joseph2302 ( talk) 23:49, 21 February 2015 (UTC) reply

  • Comment: There is some precedent here per articles like Comparison of web browsers and Comparison of e-book readers but like Joseph said, the article is US centric. It also doesn't help that only four of the listed websites have articles. There may be some merit in having a list page of various different real estate companies that have an active Internet presence, but I don't know that a comparison page is specifically the best way to go about doing this since it's very, very easy for this to turn into a promotional page or for it to basically turn into a glorified Consumer Reports type page for real estate. Not only that, but there are more than a few companies out there that have websites but aren't really active on the Internet akin to Zillow, so we'd have to argue about whether or not any real estate company that passes notability guidelines and has a website would qualify for this list. It seems like it's more applicable to searchable real estate databases that collect listings from several different companies/places. (Also, there's somewhat of a difference between Category:Online real estate databases and Category:Real estate websites.) Then we also have to think about the criteria and ask whether or not the differences in countries would impact the comparison criteria, but I'm not as worried about that. Mostly it's just that the page is very US centric and a list page would probably be better in this instance. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:34, 22 February 2015 (UTC) reply

Comment I'm new to editing Wikipedia but feel inclined to comment because of all the already stated flaws relating to this page. I'd vote to delete outright or change to a list form which could be expanded. Full disclosure, I landed on the page out of curiosity while teaching myself to edit Wikipedia and work in the real estate industry for a company not represented here. I don't seek admittance but my familiarity with the industry makes me question the notability of the page. Rbucich ( talk) 00:32, 24 February 2015 (UTC) reply

  • Note I was bold and moved the page to Comparison of real estate search engines as that is clearly what this is about (see the footnotes, where that phrase is used multiple times). Samsara 14:05, 27 February 2015 (UTC) reply
    • I don't disagree with the move, but it's really best to wait until after an AfD to rename to avoid confusion. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 03:34, 8 March 2015 (UTC) reply
  • Delete This comparison chart seem partly Original Research and partly promotional. It's poorly sourced, but beyond that, the layout makes us look more like Consumer Reports than an encyclopedia. Someone could make a List article - names only - which would be worldwide and not just US in coverage, and would be restricted to sites that have an article here or a linked source other than their own website. But in the meantime this article should be blown up. -- MelanieN ( talk) 22:44, 28 February 2015 (UTC) reply

  • Weak Delete - The number of notable items is few enough and the usable information limited enough that it doesn't seem necessary to have this outside of an article about real estate websites in general. I will note, however, that we do have many more populating the category Category:Online real estate companies which seems like they would be applicable before Samsara's move. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 03:34, 8 March 2015 (UTC) reply
