A huge table of characters from the Mario Kart series of video games, without any actual information. That is trivial
WP:GAMECRUFT, No. 6, trimmed for readability: "Lists of characters lacking secondary sourcing: (...) excessive in-game details on characters is strongly discouraged. Standalone lists of video game characters are expected to be (1) written in an out-of-universe style with a focus on their concept, creation, and reception, and (2) cited by independent, secondary sources to verify this information. (...) it is instead more appropriate to reduce the list to one to three paragraphs of prose within the "Plot" or "Synopsis" section of the game or series article. (...)
soetermans.

Hi
Aquatic Ambiance, I think me pointing to
WP:GAMECRUFT No. 6 actually is a very good reason to delete it. Why should we keep it? Where are Mario Kart characters "written in an out-of-universe style with a focus on their concept, creation, and reception, and (...) cited by independent, secondary sources to verify this information"? You're saying that
WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS and it's
WP:ALLORNOTHING. But we're discussing this list article, not similar ones. The Mario Party one is a section on a main article (which is in need of a good trimming too) and I'd argue that at least Tekken is its own franchise and isn't a fighting game from other Namco Bandai games. (but also needs more secondary sourcing on creation, development, reception, etc).
soetermans.

Delete I would argue that falls under
WP:NOT, particularly
WP:GAMEGUIDE (which specifically mentions avoiding extensive lists of video game concepts) and
WP:INDISCRIMINATE. As every source being used is simply the official websites for a handful of the games, there is no reliably sourced information that needs to be preserved, either.

Delete - This is fancruft by every definition. There's nothing here that can be used for other articles, as the refs are all primary and come from company websites. I don't see this being of use to anybody.

C'mon
Dream Focus, I think you know that's
WP:OTHERSTUFF. WP:VG isn't the authority on video game-related articles, so why shouldn't we discuss this here? And lastly, again, where are Mario Kart characters "written in an out-of-universe style with a focus on their concept, creation, and reception, and (...) cited by independent, secondary sources to verify this information"?
soetermans.

Delete The very definition of
WP:GAMEGUIDE, as it is only of use to players of Mario Kart and no one else would have a reason for wanting to compare characters across games. Transwiki if you think the info is useful, but it's not fitting for a general encyclopedia.ZXCVBNM (

Delete - Pretty trivial material along with GAMECRUFT. What makes it encyclopedic to have if it doesn’t have notability independent of Mario Kart or the individual characters themselves?

Comment - I see people overwhelmingly want to delete this, but I see the comment from
Aquatic Ambiance. What's the difference here between this and the Super Smash Brothers character list? Both of them are games without much story, and so you won't find much analysis or reaction about the characters. Is it possible to fix this to get to the standard of that article? Can we start by removing the duplicate entries / costume changes from Mario Kart Tour?

It could just very well be that
Characters in the Super Smash Bros. series itself could be a valid candidate for deletion itself, since
WP:OTHERSTUFF does not usually hold much sway in AFD discussions. Though, I rather suspect that there is more coverage in sources to be found on that topic, due to the nature of the game and its fanbase. Regardless, removing duplicate entries would not really help matters here, since as you said, you really can't find much in the way of analysis of the characters in reliable sources, so this can really never be expanded to be more than a
WP:GAMEGUIDE.

Smash is kind of defined by it's characters and new additions to the roster have to be noted. Mario Kart simply is not as it is mostly cosmetic.

Delete. It's just a table so there's no sourced content to merge. I don't think there needs to be some referendum on other articles before this article is handled in isolation. (not
