@ Eastmain: According to Vangaveeti (film), the movie is mostly about Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. The movie does seem to begin with Chalasani Venkata Rathnam's murder though. The New Indian Express link that you mentioned and added to the article, seems to be a reliable source for the fact that he was murdered, and how. Is that enough to confer WP:Notability though?
