- Delete a search for sources reveals nothing beyond minor coverage of the fact that she was standing for election. Doesn't pass the standards of WP:POLITICIAN / WP:NBIO. Bencherlite Talk 23:23, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
- Non-winning candidates for office do not get Wikipedia articles just for being candidates — if you cannot make and reliably source a credible claim that she was already notable enough for a Wikipedia article for something independent of her candidacy, then she does not become notable enough for a Wikipedia article until she wins the seat. But this claims nothing except candidate, and cites no sources — which means she does not get an inclusion freebie just because candidate. The article is actually missing the fact that in addition to having stood in last year's UK parliament election, she also seems to be a candidate in the forthcoming Welsh Assembly election — which means she still has a chance of getting into Wikipedia if she wins that seat, but still does not get an article just for being a candidate.
