No coords and no geonames hit (there are similar names in other areas). This one is particularly frustrating because there probably is or was a settlement of this name some years back: I found a picture supposedly taken there, and two maps that claim to locate it. But they do not agree where it is, and given that neither of them gives a source I'm reluctant to to let this stand as something that, in the end, is really unciteable. - I agree, my research shows that it's likely there is or was a populated village of this name somewhere in Somalia, but it's unclear where this might be and these maps aren't guaranteed to be correct. Prince of Thieves ( talk) 21:28, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep found a coordinate hit here: https://www.citipedia.info/city/general/Somalia__Gedo_Bura_id_63820 and then reviewed the location on OpenStreetMap here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=16/3.1697/42.1420; after viewing aerial imagery of the area, there's definitely a populated place at those coordinates.
