Biography of a smalltown mayor, not
properly sourced as passing
WP:NPOL. As always, mayors are not automatically notable just because they exist, and must be shown to pass
WP:GNG on the sourcing -- and no, the fact that Leaside became a neighbourhood of
Toronto 30 years after Nealson's term as mayor of Leaside ended does not mean that Nealson gets an "inherent" notability freebie on "Leaside became part of Toronto + mayors of Toronto would be notable = mayors of Leaside are notable" grounds, because a mayor's notability is contingent on the sourcing and substance present in the article and not just on a "some cities' mayors get an automatic inclusion freebie" basis.
But the sourcing here isn't establishing that she would pass GNG; the footnotes are a photograph, a glancing namecheck of her existence in an article on the broad phenomenon of women in municipal politics, and one
blog article about the time she ran and lost against another woman -- which means there's only one source here that's actually about Beth Nealson in any non-trivial sense, which is nowhere near enough to establish notability on this basis.

- Delete the one source mentioning her in the title does not seem substantial enough to lend notability.
- Keep in light of improved sourcing, establishing Beth Nealson's notability as the first woman mayor in Metropolitan Toronto and the last mayor of Leaside, Ontario, and her involvement in a historic and unusual battle between two female incumbents in a mayor's race in 1966. Most in-depth articles over the years include her 1994 obituary in the Toronto Star; a 2014 article in the Torontoist, published by Daily Hive Toronto, an online news source, which focuses on her election battle against the outspoken True Davidson but also includes details about Nealson's life throughout; and a 1966 Canadian Press (CP) article syndicated nationally and published in The Montreal Gazette, which included quotes from both Nealson and Davidson, but also incorporated key facts about each candidate as reported by the news agency. Additional interview-driven feature articles may not be as useful in establishing notability, but nevertheless demonstrate sustained interest in Nealson over the years, also outside of Toronto, including this 1961 profile in The Montreal Star, and this 1965 feature in The Windsor Star.
