This history of the county, from 1909, describes Bee Ridge as "naming a locality, a church and a school." It then goes on at some length concerning the founding of the church, leaving the other two points unaddressed except for the origin of the place's name. I can verify the school, which the topos show as sitting in isolation about 1/3 mile away from the spot they label. But I can find no sign that there was ever a town here, and the history treats it as an area rather than as a specific settlement. I don't think it provides enough info for an article on that area. Comment It is is mentioned in "From Needmore to Prosperity : Hoosier place names in folklore and history [1]". As one of the oldest settlements in the county. Also listed as a town serviced by Taxi, but alot things on this list seem suspect so... [2]. Thoughts? James.folsom ( talk) 23:31, 9 May 2024 (UTC) reply

Forgot to mention that Buchanan corner is not mentioned on that taxi list. James.folsom ( talk) 23:43, 9 May 2024 (UTC) reply

Delete other than the few things I found, there is nothing to be found. Earliest settlement in the county as claimed could just be a group of farmers, and there is no proof positive of any of the claimed details about the place. James.folsom ( talk) 23:02, 17 May 2024 (UTC) reply
