This article may violate the
don't rush to create articles part of WP:NEVENT, but this second fatal gang rape in Uttar Pradesh in recent days is generating public outcry in its own right,
[1] on top of national outrage over the first rape. It's too early to tell whether it should get a stand-alone article.

The concern is not that it an essay or that it lacks reliable sources. The concern is whether the crime has
WP:LASTING effects and interest beyond the news cycle, making it more than just a breaking news story. The Balrampur gang rape sits in the shadow of the Hathras gang rape. It is too soon to tell if this second rape will get lasting attention in its own right.

Keep, as there is no way to tell if this will have
WP:LASTING effects, but given the outcry as a result of the event it seems to have a good chance of doing so. As so, I reckon it should be kept for now.
