The result was redirect to
Steam locomotive components. Since what we have is outsourced we usually redirect instead of merge but perhaps the source that was found during the discussion can support a comment or two?

Merge toCab (locomotive), because it's a part of a locomotive cab. As to the point of being unreferenced, page 16 of the 1922
Locomotive Cyclopedia of American Practice defines it. I am not adding it to the article right now because of this discussion, and the total amount of the content will fit into the cab article.

I would prefer to merge to
Steam locomotive components, since, while it is in the cab, it's really better described as part of the locomotive as a whole.
