This article is about a Yemeni-American Muslim scholar, but there's no indication that he is notable, either per WP:BIO or per WP:PROF. There is no indication that he holds a notable position; heading the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Centre comes closest, but there is no indication that this is a notable centre. He seems to have been an Imam in Colorado and California, but there is no indication that he was particularly notable as an Imam, and I'm not sure being a Muslim Chaplain at George Washington University qualifies as a notable position. There is also no indication that any of his publications is particularly notable. Finally, there is no indication that he has received multiple outside coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject. The article was nominated for speedy deletion (per A7, non-notability) in August 2006, but the speedy was declined (by User:Crzrussian), with the edit summary "decline CSD, notability is asserted. Let's give the creator some time to develop the article." Since then, the article hasn't been developed much. While I can see enough of an assertion of notability to avoid speedy deletion, I don't see how this subject is notable enough for Wikipedia. A ecis Brievenbus 22:18, 4 June 2007 (UTC) reply
