Delete - Being made a CDP is not a form of "legal recognition" as required under
WP:GEOLAND #1 for presumed notability. Being e.g., incorporated would be. Anyway, as the nom states, this content is already hosted on other articles so there is no need for pointless duplication.

Redirect to
Amsterdam, Montana. I do see 48 matches in a newspaper search. Let's look through them: a few false positives, but also
this, which seems to be a multi-page feature on the community (the second page
here and the third page
here). This is quite significant coverage, which I didn't really expect to find. There were a number of residents, as well as a church, a cemetery, et cetera. They formed a
sewer district in 1973-74, which was voted for by 120 electors. People
farmed potatoes there in 1985. People had
"fights over gravel pits" there in 2007. This seems like it was certainly a place, quite possibly still is, about which much could be written. jp×g22:38, 15 November 2021 (UTC)reply
I don't see anything there that can't go on the Amsterdam and/or Churchill articles. Yes, they are sister communities that are themselves notable, but I don't think we need a third page to say that (and we definitely don't need articles on sewer districts...).

It creates unnecessary rehashing of materials. Already did. That's what this nomination seeks to eliminate. This opinion, however, illustrates why delete and redirect are needed.

Gidonb: I failed to notice that there were separate articles for the respective locales that this composite region is composed of. These sources can definitely just go in those articles; I'll change my !vote from "keep" to "redirect". jp×g06:36, 17 November 2021 (UTC)reply
